This privacy policy applies exclusively to the Mortgage Mate iOS app (developed by Zhanglong Cao). It does not apply to any other app or service on this website.

Mortgage Mate collects no data whatsoever. Everything stays on your device.
Overview
Mortgage Mate is a free, offline home loan simulator. It has no account system, no server backend, no in-app purchases, and no advertising. All calculations are performed locally on your iPhone or iPad using the numbers you enter. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Data Collection
We collect nothing. Specifically:

No In-App Purchases
Mortgage Mate is completely free with no subscription tiers, no premium unlock, and no in-app purchases of any kind. There is nothing to buy, and no payment information is ever handled by the app.
On-Device Storage
The app uses iOS UserDefaults solely to:
- Remember whether you have agreed to the in-app disclaimer
- Cache publicly available rate/tax parameters (fetched from a config file, e.g. ATO thresholds, APRA buffer)
This data is stored locally and never leaves your device.
Third-Party Services
Mortgage Mate uses no third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or crash reporters. There are no third-party frameworks embedded in the app that could collect data independently.
Data Sharing
We share no data with any third party — because no data is collected in the first place.
Children’s Privacy
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If privacy practices change in a future version, this page will be updated with a new “Last updated” date. Significant changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
